Pro Snowboards - What's the Difference?
Pro snowboards are simply the boards that feature our Phonon topsheet - a premium material that makes snowboards lighter weight, lots of pop, and torsionally stiff.
Made in Canada, the Phonon Pre-Tensioned Fibreglass topsheet supercharges snowboard construction. Elastic energy built up in the continuous lamination process is released when the board is flexed. The result is a super lightweight, powerfully reactive ride, whether springing out of turns or popping off jumps.
What's the difference:
- No Plastic Topsheet - graphics are screen printed right on the fibreglass.
- Perfect resin saturation in the fibreglass. Because of how the fibreglass is made, the perfect amount of resin has saturated and cured in the fibreglass, reducing weight and increasing strength.
- Carbon Stringers are also pre-cured.
