Airhole Original Mouth | Polartec Power Dry Balaclava

Been rolling with Airhole since the start. Was able to breathe directly with my mouth when working hard and expel all the moisture instead of going in my helmet goggle hood etc.

The new versions change the measurements from mouth to eye putting the mouth either down at your chin or the eye band fully on top of your eyelids. Who's face is that long? It was perfect for decades. I'm still using my old ones but they're fraying and I need new ones. I'm now having 2x brand new M/L custom tailored at $13 per adjustment so I can sip coffee through the hole without fabric scratching my cornea.

I followed the size guide on their website and my head is at the lower end of measurement for S/M. But it turned a bit snug for me. Interestingly, with it being too small, the distance from the nose to mouth hole is too much, like another reviewer had pointed out. It is less noticable when you are on the go as it will bunch up a little. But I cannot say everyone will like how it feels. Other than that, it does its job. Condensation is much improved and fogging is literally gone.

I just received mine and tried it on. Super disappointed. The amount of fabric between the eyes and the mouth piece is too much for my face. I have to choose between the fabric being bunched up under my eyes or the mouth hole being down on my chin and completely useless. Tempted to return it. The fabric rides up into my eyes when the mouth hole is placed correctly

I got tired of being waterboarded by my own sweat, saliva, and snow in a traditional mask- so i figured id give the airhole polartec powerdry balaclava a shot. Like the title says, insane. For the first time ever, i was able to keep my face warm (17°f), dry, and covered the entire session, all while being able to breathe without restriction and have clear, fogless goggles. Can't recommend these masks enough.

Questioning what to get? This right here! Polartec 100 is the perfect blend for almost the entire season… cause lets be real.. come spring fun time in the sun, we’re all stripping down to the bare minimum, that said, this balaclava has you covered for the rest of the cold season! The airhole diffuses most chance of lenses fogging up as well. Total warmth, comfort, and dries like a champ!
