Stay warm and comfortable in frigid conditions with the Airtube Ergo Laser Polar Fleece. This neck gaiter combines the coziness of our high-performance Polar Fleece with the advanced breathability of Laser micro-airholes, allowing you to breathe freely while preventing fogged goggles and condensation buildup. The ergonomic design conforms to your face, providing snug, all-day protection against cold winds and moisture.

The Airtube is our neck gaiter, or neck warmer, for snowboarding and skiing. The soft stretch tube pulls up over your face, stays put and seals out wind without a seam across the nose. Wear it down around your neck when you don't need it.

The laser-cut micro-airholes across the face panel leave no ring at the mouth. Polar Fleece is our most popular fabric. It breathes, wicks moisture and dries fast. On our warmth scale Polar Fleece is a Cold days fabric, for roughly −5 to −15°C.

Fabric: 92% polyester, 8% spandex. One size, fits heads 50–60 cm.

Origin

Built by riders

Fed up with wet, frozen masks in the backcountry, Canadian pro snowboarders Chris Brown and Kale Stephens took to Kale's grandma's old sewing machine and cut up worn-out jackets until the fit was right. The result was the patented Airhole Breath Hole. Today it's worn by our global team, from Terje Haakonsen and Roope Rautiainen to Yuto Miyamura.

Frequently asked questions

How cold can I ride it?

It depends on the fabric. Warmest to lightest:

  • Coldest days, -10 to -25°C (14 to -13°F): Polartec® Shearling Fleece, 10K Softshell
  • Cold days, -5 to -15°C (23 to 5°F): Polar Fleece, Milk Fleece, Polartec® Power Dry
  • Everyday, 0 to -10°C (32 to 14°F): Microfleece, Drytech, Waffle Fleece, Polartec® 100, Merino
  • Warmer days and hiking, +5 to -5°C (41 to 23°F): Drylite, Hyper Hole

Riding at -20°C and below, or in big wind? Go Shearling or Softshell.

Does it fit under a helmet?

Yes. The hinged balaclavas have a shaped face panel that sits flat under a helmet without bunching, and folds down when you need to eat, drink or breathe. Airtubes pull up over your face and stay put under a helmet and goggles. Riding an Airhood with a helmet? Pick the Helmet Fit version.

Will my goggles fog?

That's what the Airhole is for. Warm breath goes out through the mouth opening instead of up into your goggles, so your lenses stay clearer and the mask doesn't turn clammy. The Laser styles do the same job through laser-cut micro-airholes.

Is shipping free?

Free shipping on orders over $70 in North America. US prices include all duties and taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay at the door.

Can I return it?

Full-priced items can be returned within 14 business days, unused and in the original packaging with your receipt. Sale items are final sale. Email info@endeavordesigninc.com to start a return.

What size do I need?

Great Gaiter!

Was pleasantly surprised that it was a whole load warmer than how light & thin it feels in your hands. (Using it as a fly fishing guide for winter fishing here in Bhutan.) Holes work well too and breathing is comfortable.

Thanks Singhey! Stoked the Airtube Ergo Polar Fleece is working for you. Enjoy the season.
