Classic style meets modern performance with the Airtube Classic Polartec® 100. Made from the original synthetic fleece fabric, this airtube offers lightweight warmth and durability without weighing you down. It retains heat when you need it and releases it when you don’t, providing all-day comfort in changing conditions. Whether you’re hitting the slopes or cruising around town, this versatile piece keeps you cozy and ready for anything.

It's a classic flat-top Airtube, a neck gaiter or neck warmer for snowboarding and skiing. The soft stretch tube pulls up over your face, stays put and seals out wind without a seam across the nose. Pull it up and the original Airhole, one small oval hole, held open by a moulded silicone ring, lets your breath out instead of up into your goggles.

Polartec® 100 is the light weight in Polartec's fleece range (Micro, 100, 200 and 300). Its raised pile holds warm air, it breathes, and it dries fast. On our warmth scale Polartec® 100 is an Everyday fabric, for roughly 0 to −10°C.

Sizes: S/M fits heads 50–55 cm, M/L fits 55–60 cm. Polartec recommends a cold wash with a mild detergent and no fabric softener.

Airhole Breath Hole

The signature Airhole lets warm breath escape instead of rising into your goggles, so they stay clear.

Breathe Free

The Airhole opening vents breath and excess heat, cutting fog and moisture build-up while you keep the tube up.

Soft Stretch Fit

A soft stretch tube pulls up over your face and stays put, sealing out wind without a seam across the nose.

Warm & Dry Polartec® 100 Fleece

Breathable Polartec® 100 Fleece traps warmth while wicking moisture and drying fast — dry and warm through the coldest days.

Origin

Built by riders

Fed up with wet, frozen masks in the backcountry, Canadian pro snowboarders Chris Brown and Kale Stephens took to Kale's grandma's old sewing machine and cut up worn-out jackets until the fit was right. The result was the patented Airhole Breath Hole. Today it's worn by our global team, from Terje Haakonsen and Roope Rautiainen to Yuto Miyamura.

Frequently asked questions

How cold can I ride it?

It depends on the fabric. Warmest to lightest:

  • Coldest days, -10 to -25°C (14 to -13°F): Polartec® Shearling Fleece, 10K Softshell
  • Cold days, -5 to -15°C (23 to 5°F): Polar Fleece, Milk Fleece, Polartec® Power Dry
  • Everyday, 0 to -10°C (32 to 14°F): Microfleece, Drytech, Waffle Fleece, Polartec® 100, Merino
  • Warmer days and hiking, +5 to -5°C (41 to 23°F): Drylite, Hyper Hole

Riding at -20°C and below, or in big wind? Go Shearling or Softshell.

Does it fit under a helmet?

Yes. The hinged balaclavas have a shaped face panel that sits flat under a helmet without bunching, and folds down when you need to eat, drink or breathe. Airtubes pull up over your face and stay put under a helmet and goggles. Riding an Airhood with a helmet? Pick the Helmet Fit version.

Will my goggles fog?

That's what the Airhole is for. Warm breath goes out through the mouth opening instead of up into your goggles, so your lenses stay clearer and the mask doesn't turn clammy. The Laser styles do the same job through laser-cut micro-airholes.

Is shipping free?

Free shipping on orders over $70 in North America. US prices include all duties and taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay at the door.

Can I return it?

Full-priced items can be returned within 14 business days, unused and in the original packaging with your receipt. Sale items are final sale. Email info@endeavordesigninc.com to start a return.

What size do I need?

Sizes vary by style. Check the size guide for yours: Balaclava · Airtube · Facemask · Airhood.
